Nice. It would be great to have a chart of prizes tho.
Also, game crashes if user selects zero as a bet. It's possible.
I broke the game! Got past $100K and bank removed the leading 1. Would love to see an option up to $1M or more.
this is really cool, I love slots games! You could maybe expand with with different themed machines with different music, and maybe a global leaderboard of the richest players.
there are a few bugs; you can bet less than 1$ which crashes the playdate; also the slots don’t always seem to spin when pull the crank, its very hit n miss. Also when you get past 100k it stops showing your bank properly which spoils the fun!
overall though it’s well worth 2$!!
Oh dang, thanks for catching those bugs! I'll try to get them fixed up ASAP. The idea of having different themes is actually really interesting. One I hadn't thought of. I'll definitely consider it since it'd add a lot of depth! 👍
I noticed you almost always win within 6 spins, so if you keep betting the max amount, (eventually) you'll get past 60k in the bank, and at that point it becomes impossible to lose because your guaranteed a payout with a bet of 10k which is always huge! I dunno how real slots avoid that issue, if they don't Iv figured out how to become rich :O
Paid for this and I'm glad, its fun and its a perfect fit for the PlayDate! Sounds are good and clicking of the reels is very nice. I did notice the payout part of the screen is cut off a little so you don't actually see the coins dropping but that's ok you so get what is going on. Worth the $2 for sure. The only thing that might be a great quality of life feature is the ability to lower the music or turn it off.
Thank for the game!
Good call! I'll add that in a future update (I should probably add that to all my games ha!).
